Edward GarofaloMob Wives season 4 returns with a new title, new drama and new cast members. This time the newbies are from Philly. Alicia DiMichele and Natalie Guercio still have the ties to the mob. Their men, family members and exes are in jail or dead from a series of illegal activities. Alicia and Natalie are holding their family down despite the potential implications. Mob Wives: New Blood premiered December 5th 2013. It was a rocky road initially once the beloved cast members Big Ang, Renee and Drita were introduced to the new girls. The guards immediately came up and claws came out. Throughout the season bonds were formed and some were broken. New Blood might just be the best season yet.

Alicia DiMichele Garofalo describes herself as a cool down to earth chick. She is a mother and enjoys hanging out with her son. Alicia has a cool personality but it looks like the women might take her kindness for weakness. But don’t let her personality fool you, Alicia has some serious ties with some thugs. Renee had a problem with her form the start and it looks like she might be responsible for leaking some information about Aicia’s husband. Renee might be big and bad but this chick is stupid, she has no idea who she’s messing with. Alicia is the wife of alleged Colombo gangster Edward “The Tall Guy” Garofalo (whose father was allegedly killed by Sammy “The Bull” Gravano).

Alicia’s husband Edward Garofalo is a tough cookie. He comes from a family filled with criminals. His father Eddie Garafola aka Cousin Eddie was arrested in 1985 for tax evasion, racketeering, stock fraud and money laundering. Eddie owned a construction company. He was part of the Gambino crime family.

Alicia’s Criminal Record

Alicia DiMichele courtDiMichele pleaded guilty last month to embezzling union funds from a trucking firm she operated with her husband. She faces six months in prison or house arrest. Her husband pleaded guilty earlier to extortion charges.
While soft-spoken and demure in court, DiMichele has displayed signs of the trademark ’tude the loudmouths on “Mob Wives” showcase. DiMichele filed for bankruptcy a decade ago, but she oversees a women’s boutique in Cherry Hill, N.J., called Addiction. She had plead guilty in Brooklyn federal court that she not only knew about “the family” business — she was in it.

“My role was that I worked as the bookkeeper for DM Trucking and Big R Trucking, and I prepared the invoices and reports with knowledge that they were false,”

Since her husband’s arrest she has been an emotional wreck. She’d also been on the prescription drugs Lexapro, and now Xanax, to deal with debilitating depression and anxiety that she’s had since childhood, she said. She battles recurrent panic attacks, too. Alicia DiMichele sees a psychiatrist once a week. A complete and utter mess and after doing her jail time in 2012 hopefully being on the show will give her some financial backing because she claims that she is broke. But her husband who is now incarcerated allegedly had almost $1 million in cash stashed for her and their three kids to take care of. Who really knows? She did file for bankruptcy about ten years ago. They currently live in Marlton South New Jersey.

Edward GarofaloAlicia is the wife of alleged Colombo gangster Edward “The Tall Guy” Garofalo (whose father was allegedly killed by Sammy “The Bull” Gravano).

They were one of the five families that coined the term Mafia in the 1950′s and 1960′s. It was lead by Carlo Gambino until 1976. The mafia was involved with gambling, loansharking, extortion, money laundering, prostitution, fraud, hijacking, pier thefts, and fencing. They had connections to criminal organizations in Cuba. The mafia was also associated with the legendary John Gotti who was responsible for killing one of the former members to become the head of the organized criminal family.

Edward had been involved in crime since he was a teenager. He followed his father’s footsteps which lead him to a multitude of trouble. His father was killed by Sammy The Bull Gravano who was his father’s brother in law. Edward’s father Eddie had married Salvatore (Sammy’s sister). In the late 90′s John Gotti went to Edward Garofalo to plot a hit against Sammy. Edward had made several trips to Arizona where Sammy lived to set up the hit. Edward was indicted on murder charges and plead guilty to murdering his cousin.

What’s even crazier is that Karen Gravano is the daughter of Sammy the Bull who allegedly killed his father in 1990 which is why she isn’t on the show this season! Edward will not be on the show but we will be able to hear his voice as he speaks to his wife on the phone!

Alicia also spent some time in jail and was arrested the same time her husband was. She was given a smaller sentence about 10 years ago in 2004.

Drita meets Natalie Guercio

Mob Wives New Blood Season Premiere

Mob Wives New Blood Season Premiere

This is the first sneak peek of the premiere episode of Mob Wives: New Blood. It premieres December 5th with some new cast members with even deeper mafia ties and affiliation. Natalie and Alicia were cast for Mob Wives: Philly, a spin off but due to lack of interest from VH1 the girls were added to the original Mob Wives. But still they might lead to a spin off eventually. As for now, Big Ang, Renee and Drita have to deal.

In this clip Drita and Big Ang have their first meeting with Natalie Guercio. It seems to go well until Natalie opens her mouth. Natalie is a beautiful Sicilian woman who lives in Philly and is managing her family’s Funeral Home. She has a 10 year old son named after her grandfather but she’s no longer with the baby’s father. Her current boyfriend lives in Harlem as she tries to describe her relationship situation with Ang and Drita it sounds even more confusing.

Natalie has a few drinks, two lemon drops and a Vodka and Cranberry. That’s when things get even weirder. Natalie has a bit off Ang’s plate. Big Ang immediately puts an end to it. Watch the first episode of Mob Wives: New Blood above!

Alicia DiMichele is a Snitch??

Alicia DiMichele Garofalo mob wives new bloodOkay so now the wait is finally over. The new season of Mob Wives titled New Blood begins December 5th. Now let’s explain how this whole thing came about. It was initially revealed that the producers of Mob Wives were casting for a third franchise in the series called Mob Wives: Philly. After Mob Wives Chicago which aired in 2012 failed to meet ratings expectations VH1 cancelled production for the Philly franchise. Well two of it’s cast members Natalie Guercio and Alicia DiMichele had interesting story lines and the producers didn’t want to let the ladies go. So they decided to add them to the flagship program. Here’s what’s really interesting there was a connection between Karen Gravano and Alicia DiMichele the newbie. Alledgedly Gravano’s father is responsible for killing Alicia’s father in law in the 1990′s.

Edward Garofalo who is married to Alicia allowed her to be on the show under one condition. They get rid of Karen Gravano because of the bad blood between the two families. VH1 agreed and wanted to go in a new direction. So most people would say why get rid of a main character like Karen for some new chick that no one knows? Well Alicia has a lot going on. She is awaiting a jail sentence for involvement in the mob and what’s even crazier she is a snitch. She confessed to almost everything her husband and herself did to get a lower jail sentence. OUCH! We all know how Renee, Big Ang, and Drita feel about snitches. There is going to be a slue of drama surrounding this one. We can see how the women were out to get her when they first met her in the series opener. It’s going down!!
